Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 8th January 2021 Written Episode Update starts with Kartik sitting stunned and praying to God to bring Naira back. He says to God to return his Naira and take his life. He says his kids need Naira .
He urges God to return Naira. At Goenka’s Villa, Surekha brings Kachori’s which were stored by Naira. She says Naira kept it for kids, as they will eat after returning. Suresh breaks down saying now she may never come back.
Suwarna says to Surekha that nothing wrong will happen, Naira will come back and will serve Kachoris to all of us. Badi Dadi forgets everything and asks for Kartik, Naira, and Manish.
She says Kartik saved Naira from the falling bus and all of us are safe than we should leave as it’s too late. Keerti says she is in shock and thus didn’t remember whatever happened .
She calls the doctor for Badi Dadi. Suhasini decides to speak to Badi Dadi. Keerti asks kids to eat something as it’s too late and finds Kairav is missing.
Meanwhile, Kartik asks God to punish him if he had done something wrong, but why is he punishing his Naira and kids. Krish, Krishna, And Vansh run to search Kairav. Kairav goes to the house temple and holds Naira’s painting.
He says Naira promised him that she will make him complete the painting. Kairav tightly holds the painting and cries for Naira. He asks Naira to return and keep the promise.

Krish, Vansh, Krishna, Luv, and Kush come to Kairav and say, Naira never breaks her promise thus, she will be back soon. Keerti and Surwarna ask God to keep the trust of the kids and bring Naira back. Suddenly, the lamp was about to blow off. Kids protect the lamp from blowing off.
On the other side, Kartik waits for Naira. Manish asks the rescue team about Naira and shouts How this is possible. Kartik asks Manish what happened. The rescue team tells him that they will have to stop the search as it’s too dark.
Kartik says they can’t do that. He says Naira might be in pain and he can’t leave Naira alone in dark and in cold. He shouts at the team and says she has just got the slip and you are unable to find her. He says to find her as soon as possible and tells them to stay here and find her.
They refuse and say that they cannot risk their lives to save Naira. Kartik begs them saying what will he say to his kids they are waiting at home for Naira and they need Naira.
YRKKH 8th Jan 2021 Written Episode Update
The rescue team says they can’t wait. He says if they cannot find then he will go and find Naira. He says Naira must be waiting for him.
Gayu Regrets Her Act And Cries For Naira. Manish gets agreed to the police’s suggestion of stop finding Naira. At home, Akshara cries. Suwarna gets upset with God. Kairav sings a lullaby for Akshara. Kairav makes Akshara sleep.

Goenka’s cries seeing Kairav taking care of Akshara. Otherside, Manish tricks Kartik and gives him an injection. Kartik faints. There Kairav, Krishna, Vansh, and Krish wait for Naira to come back home. They make cards to surprise her.
Manish says to Akhilesh and Naksh that Kartik might hate him for his actions but he did that only for his betterment. He apologizes to Kartik. Akhilesh, Manish, and Naksh bring Kartik at home.
Everyone asks them what happened to him. They get worried. Manish says they have made him sleep by giving injection as he was going to find Naira. Goenka’s Gets shocked learning that Naira is not found. They cry. Luv Kush asks Kairav not to lose hope.
Precap- Kartik wakes up. Manish gets the call from the police saying they have found a dead body.
